Bro. Cody McCain began serving as our Associate Pastor of Families and Discipleship in March of 2025. He previously served as Pastor of Southside Baptist Church from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, he served as the Children’s and Youth Minister at Mt. Hope Baptist Church from 2018 to 2022, and was ordained as a minister in 2022. During his time at Mt. Hope, he also served as a deacon from 2021 to 2022.Bro. Cody and his wife Samantha have three children, Dominic, Lily, and Connor. Alongside his ministry, Bro. Cody brings a strong educational background, holding a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands (2024), an Ed.S and Master’s in Educational Leadership from Auburn Montgomery (2021), a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University (2012), and a Bachelor’s Degree in History/Secondary Education from Athens State University (2006).
